Up to 15lb in Redwood Lake and 5lb in the Arc
+ What types of fish do you have?
We have a good mixture of silvers, Tench and big bream with a few carp in Redwood Lake,
and 50/50 split between silvers and carp in the Arc Lake
+ What are the best baits?
If the fish are fussy, try 4mm pellets and/or maggots, otherwise bigger pellets and corn
Questions about the Lakes at Redwood Park
+ How deep are the lakes?
Approx 5/6 foot in Redwood Lake with a few pegs up to 9/10 foot, and 5/6 foot deep in the Arc
+ Do you always have pegs available for pleasure anglers?
Yes we never fill the lakes with match bookings
+ What are the best baits?

+ Do you need to book open match places in advance?
Redwood Park hosts regular open matches. You do NOT need to book a place in advance.

+ Are you open all the time?
All day every day from 8:00am until 1 hour before dusk.
+ When is food available?
Weekends - for breakfast and lunch
We can also open for pre-arranged matches.
+ Can we night fish?
No - currently we have no plans to allow night fishing at Redwood Park

+ Can we use keepnets?
As keen anglers ourselves we can understand the enjoyment of seeing your entire catch at the end
of the day. Unfortunately due to the improper use of keepnets by a limited number of anglers and the
subsequent stress and damage this causes to the fish, we have had to insist that the use of
keepnets is kept to a minimum and closely controlled. To this effect we only permit keepnets in
matches and fish are not retained for more than 5 hours.
